Cancellation Policies
The total cost of booking (including all purchases) is due at the time your reservation is made, unless alternate arrangements have been made.
Written cancellation is permitted 30 days prior to arrival. Deposits on record at that time will be refunded, less a $250 administration fee.
If cancellation is received within 30 days or less of scheduled arrival, all monies on record are 100% non-refundable.
Rates are subject to change without notice, though rates for deposit-paid reservations will not change.
Travel Insurance
A Vista Villa strongly recommends that all guests purchase travel insurance within 72 hours of booking. Because of our small size, cancellations affect us significantly and for this reason we are unable to make exceptions to the 30 day cancellation policy. Please be sure to consult your travel professional (or contact our friends at “http://www.oisfinancial.com/travel-insurance/” OIS Financial Ltd. regarding trip cancellation insurance.
Smoking Policy
For our guests comfort and safety, A Vista Villa is a completely smoke-free property.
Damage Deposits
Short Term Guests (less than 7 nights) – A Vista Villa does not collect a deposit, it is understood however that guests will be responsible for excessive cleaning at a rate of $40/hour. Guests will also be responsible for damages willfully or accidentally caused by them and will compensate A Vista Villa for these items within 10 days of departure.
Long Term Guests (8 nights +) – A Vista Villa collects a reasonable deposit which reflects the length of the stay. As the rates are greatly reduced for our long term guests, it is understood that the suite will be vacated in the clean and same condition it was found. $40/hour will be charged for cleaning required to restore the suite to the original clean state. Guests will be responsible for damages willfully or accidentally caused by them or their guests and these costs will be deducted from the deposit received. If the deposit fails to cover the previous two items, the guests will be responsible to cover the shortfall within 10 days of departure.
Peace and Privacy Assured
A Vista Villa is known for the peace and privacy it affords it’s guests. As such, the suites are for the sole use only of registered guests and unregistered guests are not permitted on the site. Long term guests are welcome to have visitors from time to time, but must receive written consent for occasional overnight visitors.
